The FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 kicks off today. It will take place in the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia from August 25 to September 10.
The 32 participating teams will play in 92 games played over 16 days.
The main opening ceremony will take place in the Philippines on Friday, 25 August 2023 at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue.
Georgia, qualified for the F Group, will play at the Okinawa Arena in Japan. The Okinawa Arena will also host E Group matches.
The 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup is the 19th tournament of the FIBA Basketball World Cup for men’s national basketball teams.
First Channel and Teleskola of the Georgian Public broadcaster will provide reviews of the tournament.
