FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023: Georgia beats Venezuela

Georgia played a decisive match of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 F Group against Venezuela on August 30 and defeated the rival with a score of 70:59. With this result, Georgia qualified for the next stage of the championships.

The next stage will kick off on September 1. Georgia will play against Germany and Australia to win the ticket for the quarter-finals. These two teams qualified from the E Group, Georgia and Slovenia from the F Group.

The FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 takes place in the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia from August 25 to September 10. The 32 participating teams will play in 92 games played over 16 days.

Georgia, qualified for the F Group, will play at the Okinawa Arena in Japan. The Okinawa Arena will also host E Group matches.

The 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup is the 19th tournament of the FIBA Basketball World Cup for men’s national basketball teams.
