Federalists’ Chergoleishvili: I think Saakashvili will more likely emerge as Admiral Nelson, head off to the Battle of the Nile, and defeat Napoleon

Tamar Chergoleishvili, leader of the Federalist Party, has responded to a statement by the former President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, during today’s court hearing, where Saakashvili spoke about his release from prison.

“I think you are more likely to emerge as Admiral Nelson, head off to the Battle of the Nile, and defeat Napoleon, oh victorious Commander-in-Chief,” Tamar Chergoleishvili wrote on social media.

During the hearing, Saakashvili had declared: “Lock me up as long as you like, I will leave prison just as Nelson Mandela did, straight into power, and you will trigger a Rose Revolution 2.0.”
