Georgia exported 8 000 tonnes of apples worth $3.4 million between August 1 and December 27, 2020, the Georgian Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection reported on Monday.
The volume of apple exports is 14 times higher than in the same period of 2019, while the value of exports increased by $3.1 million, said the Ministry.
Georgia mainly exported apples to Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
