Ex-President Saakashvili reveals Russian agency in his circle, and his data being handed over to Ivanishvili's government in 2020

“There was a Russian agency in my circle. Come to Georgia, he told me in 2020, and handed over my coordinates to Ivanishvili’s government. He was supposed to meet me; when I arrived, he didn’t. Instead, he handed over all my data and then participated in other provocations,” Mikheil Saakashvili, the former President of Georgia, revealed these details during today’s court hearing.

Saakashvili emphasised that betrayal has been a recurring theme in his experience and stressed the importance of remaining vigilant.

“Georgia is not a small village to build a fence around those living there and make those responsible answer for their actions. They did everything they could to eliminate us, to make us disappear. The people aren’t ready for that, but we must push. We shouldn’t fear prison. I spent my most productive years behind bars. You are cowards, but I am not afraid of anything,” Saakashvili stated.
