European Georgia demands establishing parliamentary investigative commission in connection with Khorava Street case
European Georgia demands establishing a new parliamentary investigative commission in connection with Khorava Street case.
According to Elene Khoshtaria, a member of the European Georgia, when the family members of the deceased have questions about the investigation, the Parliament should take over the supervisory function.
“We see that the state does not protect these people. When family members and not just they have legitimate questions and complaints against the investigation, the most correct solution is that the Parliament should take over the supervisory function. In this situation it would be adequate the Parliament will get involved in the case,” said Elene Khoshtaria.
