“Brussels had enough time to explain its stance to Georgian society over the processes, which developed in the country following the parliamentary elections orchestrated by those groups, which are financed and supported by Brussels,” Levan Makhashvili, Chair of the parliamentary European Integration Committee, told the GPB’s First Channel.

According to Makhashvili, Brussels had this opportunity, but by keeping silent, it deemed the possibility of overthrowing the government by violence “as the norm.”

“This is what Brussels is telling Georgian society. There is no time for ambiguous talks; everything should be called by its name. Brussels named its actions with silence,” he said.
