EU eager to have Georgia as a candidate, MEP Viola von Cramon says

European Union is eager to have Georgia as a candidate in the near future but Georgia should fulfil the 12-point recommendations proposed by the European Commission, said Viola von Cramon, a member of the European Parliament.

“European Union is eager to have Georgia as a candidate in the near future. For that, Georgian politicians, particularly the Government, need to deliver on all 12 points outlined by the EU Commission.  This is a merit-based process. There is no room for bargaining,” she tweeted.
