Environment Agency issues caution for anticipated weather conditions

The National Environment Agency is cautioning the public regarding the anticipated weather conditions in the upcoming hours.

Based on meteorological radar data, today, June 10, in the hours ahead until the end of the day, rainfall is anticipated across most regions of Kvemo Kartli, Shida Kartli, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Kakheti, and Tbilisi.

In some areas, the rainfall may be heavy, accompanied by lightning, hail, and intensified winds.

Their reports indicate that the expected precipitation in the small rivers of Eastern Georgia may lead to flooding, while hilly and mountainous areas may experience landslides and mudslides.
