The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia makes an explanation in connection with the delay of the Gorda ensemble of 17 people for the purpose of border inspection.
According to the agency, the border guards thought it was suspicious that the Gorda ensemble was carrying only 5 children to the children’s festival in Israel, the rest were persons over 25 years old.
“Border guards thought it was suspicious that the ensemble was traveling to Israel to take part in the children’s festival, and only 5 out of 17 members of the ensemble were children, and the rest were persons over 25 years old. Accordingly, they were denied entry to Israel” – Ministry states.
