Emergency Situations Management Service demands exploitation termination to “Leogrand” Hotel building

The Emergency Situations Management Service demands exploitation termination to former building of “Leogrand” Hotel in Batumi city which is now operating as Velmonde Hotel and Casino.

Specialists carried out technical inspection in the building three times in 2018.  The 43 recommendations were issued out of which majority of them has remained unfulfilled for the time being.

The fire at “Leogrand” Hotel in Batumi, Adjara region claimed lives of 11 people in 2017.
