Emergency Services deploy additional fire and rescue teams to Shaori Lake and Bakhmaro Resort
The Emergency Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia (MIA) has deployed additional fire and rescue forces to the areas surrounding Shaori Lake and the mountain resort of Bakhmaro.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, to ensure the safety of holidaymakers and visitors, rescue teams equipped with specialised gear are patrolling the vicinity of Shaori Lake, whilst personnel, drones, and specialist equipment have been mobilised at the Bakhmaro resort.
The Emergency Management Service urges citizens to adhere to safety regulations. In the event of an emergency, or if smoke or fire is spotted, citizens are advised to call the Public Safety Command Centre “112” immediately.
