Eka Beselia plans to initiate legislative changes on declaring amnesty for drug users

The independent MP Eka Beselia plans to initiate legislative changes aimed at declaring amnesty for convicts for drug use.

As Beselia said at a press conference today, the promised drug policy reform has been delayed and the necessary legislative changes have not been implemented so far.

“The amnesty bill will be initiated to release those who are still in jail unfairly,” Beselia said.
