Eka Beselia – Those who hurry about Gedevan Popkhadze’s quitting, will have to wait

Eka Beselia, Chairwoman of the Parliamentary Law Affairs Committee says that Gedevan Popkhadze has not quit the parliamentary majority and those, who hurry about his leaving, will have to wait.

According to Beselia, an internal meeting of the majority will be held and MP Popkhadze is also expecting the gathering.

“Some issues have to be clarified within the format of majority’s meeting. I distinguish issues that can be discussed in public space. Observance of the verge is important in politics,” Beselia stated.

Gedevan Popkhadze severely insulted his teammates, – Irakli Kobakhidze, Speaker of the Parliament said when commenting on the decision of MP Popkhadze’s quitting the majority.

Gedevan Popkhadze, lawmaker quit the parliamentary majority on April 4. Popkhadze said that his decision was connected to approval of Ninia Kakabadze by the parliament as a member of Board of Trustees of Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB).
