Eighteen new buses added to Batumi, Kobuleti municipal transport fleet
Eighteen new buses of modern standards have been added to the Batumi and Kobuleti municipal transport fleet.
Adjara Government Chair Sulkhan Tamazashvili attended the presentation. He said municipal transport development in the region was one of the top priorities for the Adjara government.
“The updated fleet will ensure our citizens’ more comfortable and safe transportation. In general, the development of the transportation system is part of our long-term strategy,” he said.
Within the framework of the project, the Batumi bus fleet was updated with ten 12-meter buses. Each of them can serve up to 110 passengers at a time. The Kobuleti municipal bus fleet has added 8 buses, designed for 32 passengers.
