Education Ministry integrates Strategic Planning and Inclusive Development Departments

Georgian Ministry of Education, Science and Youth Affairs denied the released reports on the cancellation of the Inclusive Department saying the information “is not true.”

According to the Ministry, Strategic Planning and Inclusive Development Departments were unified with the purpose of structural optimization and efficiency increase.

Based on the change, the Inclusive Department Department was assigned additional strategic significance.

The Ministry explained that the inclusive education system’s development remains among its top priorities.

“The Ministry actively continues and further strengthens the work for the development of inclusive education and the implementation of important projects in this direction,” it said.
