Education Minister congratulates students, teachers and parents on new academic year
The Georgian Minister of Education and Science, Giorgi Amilakhvari, congratulates students, teachers, parents, and society on the 2023-2024 academic year.
“Today is September 15, and we are starting a new academic year in schools across the country. I would like to especially congratulate our first graders, who enter the school for the first time this year. I congratulate the students, parents, and teachers and wish them a successful school year. I wish all first graders an interesting, unforgettable and adventure-filled school year.
As the Minister of Education and Science, I am fully aware of my responsibility and will do my best to ensure a healthy educational environment in schools and that every student, along with knowledge, gets valuable life experience,” the Minister stated.
The 2023-2024 academic year has commenced in public schools across Georgia. The Ministry of Education reported over 55,000 first-graders enrolled in the schools this year.
