Education Minister addresses Education World Forum in London

Georgian Minister of Education, Science and Youth, Giorgi Amilakhvari, and his deputy, Nodar Papukashvili, are participating in the Education World Forum in London.

During a panel discussion, Minister Amilakhvari emphasized the Georgian government’s commitment to improving education quality and developing human capital through increased funding and ongoing professional, general and higher education reforms.

He highlighted initiatives such as the new national education goals, teacher awards, and significant infrastructure projects.

Amilakhvari also discussed efforts to enhance professional education access and the importance of public-private partnerships. He noted progress in internationalizing higher education by developing joint degree programs with foreign universities, particularly, through collaboration with British institutions.

The Forum addresses global educational challenges and explores the role of artificial intelligence and modern technologies in education.
