Economy Ministry: June 2025 exports surge by record 10.3%

The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reports that exports in June 2025 soared by an unprecedented 10.3%, reaching USD 639.7 million.

According to the ministry, exports for the first half of the year increased by an impressive 13.7%, setting a new record with a total of USD 3.2 billion.

In June, imports rose modestly by 0.9%, amounting to USD 1.4 million, while for January-June, imports grew by 12.4%, totalling USD 8.7 million.

Trade turnover in June was estimated at USD 2.0 billion, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 3.7%. The total trade turnover for January-June reached USD 11.9 billion—an all-time high—marking a 12.7% rise.

The ministry further emphasised that 2024 set a record for export volume and trade turnover. In that year, exports grew by 7.8% to USD 6.6 billion, while overall trade turnover increased by 8.1% to USD 23.4 billion.
