Economy and Finance Ministers present ongoing and future transport logistics projects to donors

The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili, together with the Minister of Finance, Lasha Khutsishvili, met with Rolande Pryce, the World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus, and Anders Peterson, the Deputy Director of the Asian Development Bank in Georgia.

The Ministry of Economy reported that during the meeting, it was emphasised that the development of the country’s transport and logistics infrastructure, alongside enhancing the competitiveness of the Middle Corridor, remains a key priority for the Georgian government. Consequently, the realisation of projects such as the Anaklia Deep Sea Port holds particular significance.

The discussion included the government’s vision for the development of Anaklia Port, the surrounding region, and the rail and road infrastructure connecting to the port.
