EBRD’s Alkis Drakinos: EBRD commits to support Georgia’s private sector and development
“We are very much committed to keep supporting Georgia’s private sector and Georgia’s development,” stated Alkis Drakinos, Regional Head of the Caucasus for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
According to him, EBRD will invest EUR 300 million in Georgia this year.
“This year, for example, we will be investing over 300 million euros in Georgia’s various sectors: in industry, in banks, in small and medium enterprises. So we are pretty active. We focus on monitoring the development of those projects that we have. We have our own capabilities and priorities. So we look at what can be done, and we will continue exploring regional impact projects,” Alkis Drakinos concluded.
