Due to public screening of Football World Cup, traffic on First Republic Square to be temporarily restricted from July 7 to July 21

Tbilisi City Hall announced that traffic will be fully restricted on First Republic Square from 11 p.m. on July 7 to 8 a.m. on July 21 in connection with the public screening of the Football World Cup.

The temporary restriction applies to the area of ​​the square, namely the road section extending from the intersection of Shota Rustaveli Avenue and First Republic Square to the intersection with Merab Kostava Street.

Vehicles and public transport will be redirected to adjacent streets. They will not be allowed to move from Rustaveli Avenue to the Olive Tree area in the direction of the First Republic Square.

Vehicles travelling from Rustaveli Avenue towards Kostava Street will only be able to proceed in the direction of Mikheil Javakhishvili and Merab Kostava Streets.
