Special traffic regulations have been enacted on specific sections of the road network due to heavy snowfall and challenging meteorological conditions. The Roads Department has issued official information regarding these measures.

Because of loose ice, significant snowfall, and adverse weather conditions, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is restricted on the following sections of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road: Gudauri (Posta) to Kobi; as well as on the Koda-Vilage Algeti and Ayazma-Ninotsminda segments of the Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda route; Nakerala Ughletekhil; the Sachkhere-Racha road; the Partskhisi-Tetritskaro route; the Marneuli-Tetritskaro-Tsalka corridor; the Ofitara-Mele section of the Kutaisi-Tskaltubo-Tsageri-Lasdili-Lenlekhi road; the Korenishi-Shovi segment of the Kutaisi-Alpana-Mamisoni route; and the Jvari-Ushguli stretch of the Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili road.

Due to avalanche danger, heavy snowfall, poor visibility, and blizzard conditions, all types of motor vehicle movement are temporarily restricted on the following routes: Nichbisi-Didgori-Didi Toneti; the Goderdzi-Utkisubani section of the Batumi-Akhaltsikhe road; the Korsha-Shatili segment; and the Ushguli-Lasdili stretch.

Only off-road vehicle traffic is permitted on the Verona-Telavi section of the Vaziani-Gombori-Telavi route, as well as on the km50–km103 segment of the Batumi-Akhaltsikhe road.

Traffic remains unrestricted on all other sections of the road network.
