Dr. Anthony Fauci: COVID-19 vaccine could be ready in early 2021
The Trump administration’s project – “Operation Warp Speed ” – aims to provide a coronavirus vaccine by the end of 2020.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said COVID-19 vaccine could be ready in early 2021.
“We are doing phase 1 clinical trials now. When we move into the next phase, we will try to be as careful as possible to quickly determine whether the vaccine works or not. If the vaccine will be safe and effective, we will accelerate its distribution,” Dr. Anthony Fauci said.
