Dmytro Kuleba: To avoid “Ukrainian scenario,” Georgian gov't must concede to protesters’ demands now

Dmytro Kuleba, Former Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, said on Sunday “Authorities in Georgia blame foreign entities for the protests, but the blame lies with them.”

“They’ve gone from being pro-Russian to turning Georgia into Russia, and people are pushing back. To avoid the “Ukrainian scenario,” they must concede to protesters’ demands now. If they don’t and protests prevail, they must not call on Russia for support. Stubbornness isn’t always strength—unless power and Moscow matter more than Georgia,” Kuleba wrote on X.
