Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, the Georgian Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, met with Michael O’Flaherty, the Human Rights Commissioner of the Council of Europe, who is visiting Georgia for official discussions.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister and the Commissioner examined the current political developments and the ongoing mass protests in the country.
Aleksandre Darakhvelidze provided the CoE Commissioner with an update on the actions of violent protesters and the police’s response measures.
He expressed gratitude for the visitor’s presence and emphasized that collaboration with the Council of Europe institutions remains a top priority for Georgia.
