“The government internship program is a vital initiative launched by the Prime Minister, allowing students and university graduates to enhance their knowledge, gain practical experience and, most importantly, secure employment in the public sector,” stated Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Vakhtang Tsintsadze.

As the Deputy Minister noted, applicant numbers for the internship scheme are consistently high. In Tsintsadze’s assessment, this reaffirms that pursuing a career in the civil service remains highly attractive to university graduates.

“This issue is naturally of paramount importance for the public sector as well, given that its work directly serves the country’s public interest and the creation of public good. Consequently, one of our main priorities is to foster the knowledge and professional competencies of both students and graduates to the utmost, creating genuine opportunities for their employment and professional fulfilment within the public service,” the Deputy Minister noted.
