Demining team works at Batumi port

The law enforcement officers and deminers are mobilized in Batumi port. They are looking for an explosive device on one of the ships, according to the information that is currently available.

An anonymous source informed the port administration that the ship, which was due to set sail, was mined, the port’s trade union representative told the press. The port has been shut down.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has made no clarifications yet.
