Defense Minister visits Arlington National Cemetery

Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze visited Arlington National Cemetery, the most lauded spot overseen by the US Army, within the framework of his US visit.

Together with Georgia’s Ambassador to the US Davit Zalkaliani and the ministry delegation, Burchuladze laid a wreath at the memorial of an unknown soldier and commemorated the heroes. The defense minister gifted a memorial board to the host side.

Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze also met General Daniel R. Hokanson, Chief of the National Guard Bureau. The meeting between Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze and US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin on February 10 emphasized US-Georgia cooperation in the defence and security sectors.
