Defense Minister meets US National Guard Bureau Chief

Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze met General Daniel R. Hokanson, Chief of the National Guard Bureau within the framework of his US visit.

The Georgian Ministry of Defense (MoD) reports that programs carried out with the US support for strengthening Georgia’s defense capabilities were discussed at the meeting. The sides stressed the importance of multinational military training.

The meeting between Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze and US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin on February 10 emphasized US-Georgia cooperation in the defence and security sectors.
