Defence Minister meets Norwegian Ambassador

Georgian Defence Minister Juansher Burchuladze met the newly appointed Norwegian Ambassador to Georgia, Bergljot Hovland.

The Minister congratulated the Ambassador on the appointment, wished her success, and thanked her for Georgia’s political and practical support.

At the meeting, the Minister and Ambassador focused on cooperation formats with the EU and NATO, highlighting the successful implementation of the NATO-Georgia Substantial Package (SNGP).

Juansher Burchuladze stressed Norway’s contribution to the NATO-Georgia Joint Training and Evaluation Center (JTEC) development and joint training of National Guards and military education between the two countries.
