Defence Minister inspects NATO-Georgia training 2025

Multinational NATO-Georgia Training 2025 is ongoing at the Georgia Joint Training and Evaluation Center (JTEC).

Georgian Defence Minister Irakli Chikovani and Chief of Defence Forces General-Major Giorgi Matiashvili inspected the details and location of the training.

The JTEC Head Colonel, Davit Gagua, provided the defence officials with the training’s simulated scenario and communication and information systems.

Irakli Chikovani also visited the First Infantry Brigade headquarters and the management centre to become familiarized with the synchronized management and control of the situation during crisis and military hostilities by different units. He then inspected simulated field constructions and special devices.

“At the end of the visit, Deputy Chief of Defence Forces Zaza Chkhaidze and Colonel Davit Gagua gifted the JTEC memorial boards to defence officials for the support of NATO-Georgia Training 2025,” the Defence Ministry said in a statement.
