The death toll of the landslide that hit Shovi resort of the Oni municipality rose to eleven, Minister of Health Zurab Azarashvili reported.
According to the Minister, 25 people remain missing, while 210 were safely moved from the disaster zone.
“Their health is not life-threatening. Some had minor injuries. Medical aid teams from different regions are mobilized to the site. Some of the dead have been identified, as far as I know, but not all of them,” Azarashvili said, adding the injured people are provided with medical and psychological assistance.
On August 3, a deadly landslide struck the Shovi resort.
