Culture Minister meets Israeli Ambassador

Georgian Culture Minister Maia Bitadze met Ambassador of the State of Israel to Georgia Walid Abu Haya.

During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation between the two countries in the cultural sphere, focusing on events planned for next year to mark the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Israel.

The Minister and Ambassador reconfirmed readiness to further intensify Georgian-Israeli cultural relations based on common values.

Deputy Culture Minister Natia Shamatava and Head of the International Relations Department Zurab Bakuradze attended the meeting.
