Croatia fully supports Georgia's European choice, FM Gordan Radman says

“Croatia fully supports Georgia’s European choice,” said Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Gordan Radman, after meeting his Georgian counterpart Ilia Darchiashvili.

“We look forward to seeing Georgia advance towards the candidate status. We are ready to help you on that path with our expertise and knowledge. You can rely on us in everything.

We know from our experience that it is a long journey and hard work to achieve your foreign policy goals, but it worked. Therefore, we welcome your reform efforts and commitment to this process.

I also expressed Croatia’s unwavering support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders and peaceful resolution of the conflict,” he said.

The Georgian and Croatian Foreign Ministries signed an agreement on economic cooperation and a memorandum of understanding regarding diplomacy training. Croatian FM welcomed the decision to open a Georgian Embassy in Zagreb.

Within the framework of the visit, the Croatian official will visit the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL) in Odzisi village. He will also meet Georgian executive and legislative authorities.

Gordan Radman arrived in Georgia today and will stay in the country till February 11.
