Georgian PM Irakli Garibashvili has arrived in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, to attend the United Nations Climate Change Summit COP27.
Egypt’s Minister of International Cooperation, Rania Al-Mashat, and Chargé d’Affaires of Georgia to Egypt, Mikheil Tigishvili welcomed Prime Minister Garibashvili at the airport, according to the government’s press office.
Georgian PM will address the global leaders participating in the summit and emphasize ways to overcome the challenges caused by climate change.
The PM-led delegation consists of Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili and Head of the Government Administration Revaz Javelidze.
