Construction of Tbilisi public school No. 83, designed for 650 students, progresses apace

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure is currently constructing a new building for Tbilisi Public School No. 83, which will be capable of accommodating 650 pupils and fully compliant with modern educational standards.

The Ministry of Infrastructure has issued an update on the project, reporting that Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, accompanied by Beka Urushadze, the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund, as well as Georgian MP Sozar Subari and City Council Member Zakaria Tsiklauri, recently visited the site to inspect the ongoing construction works.

“The project aims to provide a safe, functional, and comfortable learning environment that will foster both academic growth and physical activity among students. The design includes fully equipped classrooms, an indoor gymnasium, and a well-appointed outdoor yard.

The new school will be fitted with all necessary engineering communications, including modern heating, water supply, and sewage systems, ensuring the smooth and safe continuation of the educational process.

The Public School No. 83 project was transferred to the Municipal Development Fund from the LEPL Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency (ESIDA) and is entirely financed by the Government of Georgia. The total cost exceeds 14.4 million GEL.
