Chairman of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk said he was pleased to host the Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili and the Georgian parliamentary delegation in Kyiv.
Stefanchuk expressed gratitude to Papuashvili for his visit, which is an expression of solidarity and support.
“I am glad to welcome the Speaker of Parliament to Shalva Papuashvili, who arrived in Kiev with the parliamentary delegation. I am convinced that our meeting will contribute to the further strengthening of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Georgia, what our peoples expect.
Together they discussed the need to impose sanctions against the aggressor country, the European integration future of Ukraine and Georgia, and the possible assistance to Georgia in the process of rebuilding Ukraine.

The Georgian Parliamentary delegation is headed by Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili. The delegation includes Vice Speakers Davit Sergeenko, Archil Talakvadze and Levan Ioseliani as well as Chairman of the Diaspora and Caucasus Affairs Committee Beka Odisharia, Lelo party member Ana Natsvlishvili, Girchi member Vakhtang Megrelishvili, Republican party member Khatuna Samnidze and For Georgia member Giorgi Khojevanishvili.
