Chair of EU Integration Committee: GD to beat UNM by 92 472 votes

Chairman of the Georgian parliamentary EU Integration Committee, Levan Karumidze said that the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party beat the United National Movement (UNM) party by 92 472 votes in the runoff elections which is a “solid winning.”

“To simplify things. Out of 985,186 votes in the run-offs across Georgia: Georgian Dream received 538,829 votes (54.7%), United National Movement received 446,357 votes (45.3%) That’s a difference of 92 472 votes (10.3%) and that, is a solid win ladies and gentlemen!,” Karumidze tweeted.

Runoff municipal elections were held on October 30 in Georgia.
