CEC preliminary results from across Georgia: GD – 46.65%, UNM – 30.7%
According to the preliminary data of the Central Election Commission (CEC), in the proportional part of elections from across Georgia, the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party won 46.65% of the voters, while the opposition United National Movement (UNM) – 30.7%.
The data, collected from 3 740 out of 3 743 polling stations, is as follows:
- Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia – 46.65%,
- United National Movement – 30.7%,
- Giorgi Gakharia – For Georgia – 7.79%,
- Lelo – 2.71%.
- Other parties secured less than 2% of votes.
Run-off of the October 2 local elections will be held in 20 out of 64 municipalities, as CEC preliminary results show.
