CEC Chair: OSCE/ODIHR report highlights high standard of elections, leaves no space for manipulations

“The OSCE/ODIHR final report of the 2024 parliamentary elections highlights high standards of the conducted elections and leaves no space for manipulations,” said Chair of the Georgian Central Election Commission (CEC), Giorgi Kalandarishvili.

According to the CEC Chair, the report provides positive sides, remarks and recommendations that will be taken into account for “further development and strengthening the election process.”

“We read the report objectively, in complexity and accept positive assessments but also analyze the findings. This will assist us, in cooperation with the OSCE/ODIHR, to define the mechanisms to ensure further development of the election process, including refining election procedures and various issues mentioned in the document,” Kalandarishvili said.
