CEC: Based on preliminary results, GD leads in Tbilisi City Assembly elections with 70.15 percent

Based on the preliminary results of the Central Election Commission (CEC), the Georgian Dream (GD) party leads in Tbilisi City Assembly (Sakrebulo) elections with 70.15 percent.

According to the CEC Chair Giorgi Kalandarishvili, votes from 584 of 573 polling stations are counted, constituting 98.11 per cent of the total number of polling stations.

Based on the CEC data, the votes were distributed among the participant parties as follows:

1. Motherland, Language, Faith – 3, 020 votes, 1.019%;

3. Conservatives for Georgia – 12, 811 votes, 4.32%;

5. Our United Georgia – 1,720 votes, 0.58%;

7. Free Georgia – 2, 647 votes, 0.89%;

8. Patriots Alliance of Georgia – 3, 151 votes, 1.06%;

9. Strong Georgia – Lelo 29, 807 votes, 10.054%;

11. Georgia – 943 votes, 0.31%;

12. Greens Party – 1,906 votes, 0.64%;

14. Public Government – 761 votes, 0.25%;

25. Gakharia for Georgia – 9 483 votes, 3.19%

36. Girchi – 22 230 votes, 7.49%;

41. Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia – 207 985 votes, 70.15%.
