By the will of Saint Giorgi we have locum tenens and he is Bishop Shio – the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II stated during the sermon at Kashueti Church.

“I hope Bishop Shio will justify our expectations and fulfill his duties” – Ilia II said.

Ilia II addressed the parish and congratulated them on St. George’s Day.

Today, before the festive Liturgy the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia read the order according to which Senaki and Chkhorotskhu Metropolitan Shio Mujiri has been nominated as locum tenens of Patriarch.
