Catholic, Evangelical-Lutheran Churches in Georgia celebrate Christmas
The Catholic Church and the Evangelical-Lutheran Church in Georgia are celebrating Christmas.
Giuseppe Pasotto, the bishop of the Apostolic Administration of the Caucasus, led the Christmas service at the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin in the Georgian capital Tbilisi.
Simultaneously, the service in the Evangelical-Baptist Church commenced at midnight. During the liturgy, Christmas carols were sung in 17 languages.
