Statement of Patriarchate of Georgia

Patriarchate of Georgia believes that father Giorgi Mamaladze `s recent activity in media is discrediting the Church and is influence on the President and the Society for pardoning deacon.

The Patriarchate has released a statement regarding the above mentioned case. According to it, the position of the Patriarchate of Georgia has not yet released in connection with So-called Cyanide case.

Recently some media activists have been actively involved with Giorgi Mamaladze. In media he is presented as a refugee for truth, as a fighter against injustice. The Patriarchate is mentioned as the supporter of the criminals and injustice – statement of Patriarchate of Georgia reads.
