Bulgarian Ambassador to Georgia hopes for EU-Georgia relations to return to normal interaction

“There will be discussions on visa-free, definitely. I hope there are good discussions because it is a major topic, and I hope the discussion will produce good decisions, well-thought-through decisions, which will be implemented,” Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Georgia, Vesselin Valkanov, stated.

Regarding the question about personal sanctions, the ambassador stated that the leaders of the countries should make the decision.

“I have no expectation. Let the leaders of the countries decide. I cannot decide. All I can say is that I would like to see relations improve, because this is healthy for neither Georgia nor the EU. So let’s hope there is wisdom and both sides will find a way to return to normal interaction,” the Ambassador has said.
