Border Police Chief meets new Deputy Head of SNGP Core Team
Davit Tamazashvili, Head of the Border Police of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, met with Enes Gürcan, the newly appointed Deputy Head of the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package (SNGP) Core Team.
At the introductory meeting, the two sides discussed practical cooperation and joint plans between NATO and Georgia. The parties highlighted the Republic of Türkiye’s contribution to implementing the activities under the SNGP’s Maritime Security Initiative.
The Head of the Border Police wished Enes Gürcan every success in his future work and thanked the SNGP Core Team for its active support in developing the Border Police’s capabilities.
The First Deputy Head and Deputy Heads of the Georgian Border Police, other senior Border Police officials, and Türkan Öztürk, lead of the SNGP Maritime Security Initiative, also attended the meeting.
