Best result in independent Georgia's history: Three gold, three silver, and one bronze at Paris Olympics
The Georgian Olympic delegation finished 24th in the overall medal count at the Paris 2024 Summer Games, marking the most successful performance in the country’s history since gaining independence. Georgia secured a total of seven medals: three gold, three silver, and one bronze.

Judo: Lasha Bekauri (gold), Tato Grigalashvili (silver), Ilia Sulamanidze (silver)
Weightlifting: Lasha Talakhadze (gold)
Freestyle Wrestling: Geno Petriashvili (gold), Givi Macharashvili (silver)
Boxing: Lasha Guruli (bronze)
Prior to Paris 2024, Georgia’s most successful Olympic outing was at the Beijing 2008 Games, where the country won three gold, two silver, and two bronze medals.
At the Paris Olympics, the United States topped the medal table, with American athletes earning 40 gold, 44 silver, and 42 bronze medals.
