Giorgi Kushitashvili to face Tajik opponent in Paris 2024 debut

Georgian boxer Giorgi Kushitashvili will make his debut today at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in the 92 kg category. He will face Tajik opponent Davlat Boltaev in the 1/8 finals at 22:48 Tbilisi time.

Kushitashvili, a European champion and World Championship bronze medalist, secured his Olympic spot in Bangkok, Thailand, in early June.

Another Georgian boxer, Lasha Guruli, will begin his Olympic competition tomorrow.
