Georgia secures first medal at Paris 2024, Tato Grigalashvili wins Silver

The Georgian athletes secured their first medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games on the fourth competitive day of the judo tournament.

Georgian judoka Tato Grigalashvili, a 24-year-old three-time world champion in the 81 kg category, earned a silver medal after losing to the current Olympic champion, Japanese judoka Takanori Nagase.
